Miró and Poetry with Paul Jaskunas [Talk] May 29, 12-1 PM | The Phillips Collection | Included with museum entry fee
Paul Jaskunas discusses the dynamic relationship between poetry and painting, revealing how poetry helped shape Joan Miró’s art. Jaskunas is the author of two volumes of poetry, including Drawing Lessons, a collection of ekphrastic poetry in conversation with the art of Warren Linn. He serves on the faculty of the Maryland Institute College of Art and edits Full Bleed, an annual journal exploring the intersection of visual and literary arts.
