Opening Celebration: We Mend in End Times [Gallery Opening] February 13, 7-9 PM | DC Arts Center | FREE
Curated by Izy Carney and Lucas J Rougeux, this group exhibition strings together themes of communal care and personal tending for the body through the lens of fabric. Featuring quilt-making, screen-printing, and embroidery, each artist uses meticulous and deeply personal textile work to process their experience of living through urgent times. The exhibition tells a story about how we tend to ourselves and each other when everything feels fragile. More Info
